Lots of activities are taking place here on the Grand Strand. From Murrells Inlet to Little River and beyond! There are festivals gearing up and art shows are happening In Conway and of course, walking the beach looking for star fish and shells. (a favorite past time for everyone!) You will find many places to visit and things to do while in the area. There are the many festivals and cultural events that will begin soon. Market Common, located on the former air force base, is hosting several events. The Coastal Carolina University has a calendar of plays, concerts and other events that are well priced and very entertaining. Shopping is a passion for many and we certainly have the venues here for some of the best shopping around. History is also coming alive in the area. Tours of Gullah country can be arranged by calling 843-488-4885. Local history tours are loads of fun for the family and Carolina Safari offers daily trips. Call 843-347-9720 to book your Carolina Safari. West of Myrtle Beach is a town called Conway that has a historical tours daily. Check it out by calling the Conway Visitors Bureau. And of course, we have beach combing at the state parks, trips to our beautiful Brookgreen Gardens and the Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum located on Ocean Boulevard. Visit them all to make your stay here one that is memorable. It's a great place and even a better place to live. It's no longer winter here on the Grand Strand.
